I've been working on my website today to make it more streamlined. I also have envisioned what I'd like to do to take it forward. I will hopefully be linking to some great resources for like-minded individuals in the issues that face us today. There are so many different causes that are near and dear to me. I've already included some in the Issues section of the website. I also have a Resources section which contains important resources, as well as just fun resources. I hope to add more soon, if time permits.
I'd love to hear your feedback concerning the restructuring!
I was getting a bit tired of the previous template, so I decided to change it. I took the Paris template I found on Joomla24.com, and tweaked it to fit me. If you will notice, it's the same template I used on the Virtual Memorial site. The photo is one I took several years ago, and I used the Gimp 2.6 and Macromedia Fireworks 8 to tweak it. The bullets and the little pansies were downloaded from the Open Clip Art library. I'm pretty pleased with the look. I still need to reorganize the structure. It's very hard to find everything.
I've been working on my Entmoot Academy website again, and have added some more links to great resources. It's gotten to be quite a project with over a 100 websites categorized by subject. There are a lot more to add, but it takes time. Before adding a link, I test it, and try to find a good description of it. I don't even think I'm a quarter the way through my long list of links. I want to try to add a few every couple of days, in my spare time. ROFL! Like I have any!
The concept of spare time is almost foreign to me as I work on a few websites for work and for pay. I also am trying to teach Aric and Arianna how to develop websites, and trying to maintain my own. Not much good to have a dynamic site that isn't always in a state of flux!
Take a look at the Entmoot Academy website when you get a chance. Have fun with all the great sites you will find!
Back in November, my sites were attacked. Since that time, my site was on again-off again, until it was eventually shut down altogether. I've worked to get everything back up the last couple of days on a new server with clean files. I am continuing to fix missing items as I find them. You may come across one every now and then. If you find something missing, please let me know!
Please note that I am still tweaking the visual aspects of the site. Bear with me as I deal with the little glitches, and as I rebuild the template. First on my list is to fix the drop-down menu. While I'm working on it, I will leave it on the side panel as well.
