My father, Bonifacio T. Fahel, Jr. married Ella May Hirtzel (my mom) on May 30, 1958. Together, they had three children, later divorcing.

Leigh Howard Fahel, born September 16, 1960 and
married to Karen Coutermarsh on September 3, 1985

Valerie Sue Fahel(that's me!), born February 5, 1966 and
married to Harold Eugene "Gene" Fowler on June 6, 1987 ~ divorced February 1994)
Then I married Greggory William "Gregg" Schaffer on July 3, 1999

Julie and Perry have one daughter:
Monica Danielle Davenport, born December 13, 1988

Gene and I have two children (living) (now being raised by Gregg and I):
Aric Job Fowler, born March 17, 1990
Arianna Joy Fowler, born July 22, 1993

Gregg and I have one child:
Aneira Noel Schaffer, born December 26, 2001

Leigh and Karen have one child:
Deborah Celina Fahel, born November 5, 2002

Dad always encouraged Julie and me to take pictures of the kids on any occasion. He even went so far as to buy us each a camcorder so that we could tape them as they grew up. We'd send him the tapes, and he would make copies, complete with titles, for his Mom, our Mom, Leigh & Karen, Julie and me. Even after he moved down here to South Carolina after he chose early retirement he still encouraged the picture taking. He was very proud of all three of his grandchildren, and spoiled them as much as he did us! I never imagined that my father would like being a grandfather as much as he did. The following pictures are some that were taken during different times of our lives.
